New York, NY (July 25, 2007)—Research conducted by Magazine Publishers of America (MPA) found 62 Magazine Digital Initiatives announced in the second quarter of 2007. This marks a 139% increase in initiatives over the same quarter in 2006, and the highest number tracked by MPA in any one quarter.
Among the new initiatives announced by magazine publishers during the second quarter are integrated marketing initiatives, widgets, mobile content, more videos for websites, innovations in user-generated content and social networks, and many website redesigns.
