To increase awareness of its distinctive western shirts, Austin Kelly Advertising encouraged Barn Fly to take an irreverent approach in order to position the brand as unique.
Results: First quarter 1999 sales equaled half of all 1998, and calls to the companys toll-free number, which appeared only in magazine ads, have average 200 per week since the campaign began.
