Mullen Advertising's campaign aimed to broaden the brand's franchise by creating a Swiss Army mindset under which all products had a role and to leverage the strengths of the Original Swiss Army Knife.
Results: Following the previous year's decline, 1998 income rose 8% despite limited new product introductions, and unaided advertising and brand awareness grew significantly.
