ASME has introduced an exciting new membership for junior-level editors called NEXT.  The idea is to bring these editors (with up to five years of experience) into the professional fold, engage them, and improve their practical and leadership skills so they will be more effective members of your staff. 

Membership in ASME NEXT provides a variety of benefits, including:

• Timely, topical programs featuring senior members of ASME and others who will share success stories and address business, industry, and career-development issues and trends
   
• Events will be held once a month and will include breakfast roundtables as well as more in-depth evening seminars
             
• The opportunity to network and build valuable new relationships with industry peers through programs and an online community (access to the MPA/ASME website as well as an ASME NEXT Facebook page)
     
• Reduced rates to attend the annual Magazine Workshop and other ASME events
   
• Access to MPA/ASME resource material
