National Magazine Awards 2013 Rules Changes

The following changes in the National Magazine Awards 2013 rules have been approved by the ASME Board of Directors.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Entering the National Magazine Awards

All National Magazine Awards entries must be submitted online. You will follow the same steps whether you are entering a print category (categories 2 to 6 and 8 to 14), digital-only category (categories 7 and 15 to 19), print-digital categories (categories 20 to 25) or Magazine of the Year (category 1).

Instructions for Submitting Apps

For magazines planning on submitting iPad, iPhone or Android apps in any National Magazine Awards category, please read the following directions:

Magazines submitting an app should include a link to the app so that judges can download it from iTunes or the Android Marketplace (if the entry consists of more than one app with different URLs, please include each URL). Remember to note on your entry form which app the judges should purchase and download.
