To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the American Society of Magazine Editors is compiling four lists of the most notable achievements in magazine journalism in the last half century. ASME members are invited to submit nominations for all four lists. Juries composed of leading editors, art directors and photography editors will choose and rank the 50 items on each list, subject to the approval of the ASME Board of Directors. The final lists will be announced at the American Magazine Conference in New York later this year.
