NEW YORK, NY (February 27, 2008)—Winners of the 2007 Magazine Publishers of America (MPA) Digital Awards were announced today at the fourth annual Magazines 24/7 Digital Conference in New York City. The MPA Digital Awards, currently in its second year, honor excellence and innovation of magazine brands on all digital platforms in 12 categories. The awards were presented by superstar podcaster Mignon Fogarty, creator and voice of “Grammar Girl.” The winners and finalists are as follows: WEBSITES OF THE YEAR The “Website of the Year” category recognizes excellence and innovation in content, design, functionality and usability in five sub-categories. Website of the Year: News & Social Topics / Business & FinanceRecognizes overall excellence and innovation in content, design, functionality and usability in magazine websites that focus primarily on general news, social topics, business or finance.
