CONFERENCE 2006: The Marketing of Magazines and Books

More than 600 magazine and
book publishers, distributors, wholesalers, suppliers and retailers
attended the 10th Annual Retail Conference, March 5-7, at the
Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate in Florida. The event, whose theme
was “innovation,” was hosted by Magazine Publishers
of America (MPA) and International Periodical Distributors’
Association (IPDA). The event co-chairs were Mike Duloc, President
& COO, Kable Media Services, Inc., and George Fisher, VP,
Sales Director, Mass Merchandise, Random House, Inc. |
