Two outstanding members of the magazine publishing industry were honored at the 2005 Lifetime Achievement Awards, hosted by Magazine Publishers of America (MPA) and American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME).
Patrick McGovern, Founder and Chairman, International Data Group, was presented with the 2004 MPA Henry Johnson Fisher Award for his significant and long-standing contributions to the industry.
Norman Pearlstine, Editor-in-Chief, Time Inc., received the 2005 ASME Magazine Editors Hall of Fame Award for career-long achievement and excellence.
They were honored at a gala event on January 26 at the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.
