The Winners: HJF Award recipient Cathie Black, President, Hearst Magazines, and William Buckley Jr., Founder and Editor-at-Large, National Review

Cathleen P. Black, President of Hearst Magazines, and William F. Buckley Jr., Founder and Editor-at-Large, National Review, were the 2006 honorees of the magazine industry Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Approximately 500 publishers, editors and other executives celebrated their accomplishments at a gala dinner at New York Citys Waldorf=Astoria on January 26.

Pat Carbine, Co-Founder of Ms. Magazine presented Black with the 2005 MPA Henry Johnson Fisher (HJF) Award, while author and journalist Tom Wolfe gave Buckley the 2006 ASME Magazine Editors Hall of Fame Award.
