FAMILY CIRCLE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH “MASTERCHEF” FOR “PICTURE PERFECT CHALLENGE”

America’s No. 1-Selling Food Magazine Offers Consumers a Chance to Win

“The MASTERCHEF Experience” Sweepstakes with America’s Most-Watched Cooking Competition Television Series

 

NEW YORK, NY (MAY 19, 2015)Family Circle, the No. 1-selling food magazine reaching 18 million readers a month, today announced an exclusive partnership with America’s most-watched cooking competition television series MASTERCHEF to launch “The MASTERCHEF Experience” Sweepstakes. As a Season Six partner, Family Circle will be featured on the show and participate in the “Picture Perfect Challenge,” which tasks contestants to create a dish that looks as good as it tastes.

From May 12, 2015 through August 31, 2015, readers are invited to enter for a chance to win travel and accommodations for a two-night stay in Los Angeles, CA, and a set tour of MASTERCHEF. The sweepstakes’ grand prize winner and a guest will enjoy a meet-and-greet with at least one MASTERCHEF judge. To promote the sweepstakes, Family Circle and MASTERCHEF will partner for a number of in-book, online and on-air features, culminating in the show’s “Picture Perfect Challenge” episode airing on July 15, 2015. The challenge’s winning chef and recipe will be featured in the October 2015 issue of Family Circle.

Season Six of MASTERCHEF kicks off with a special two-hour Season Premiere event Wednesday, May 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Host and award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot will be joined by new judge Christina Tosi, owner and founder of New York City’s Milk Bar, and the 2015 James Beard Award winner for Outstanding Pastry Chef. The three celebrated food experts will put the latest group of contestants through a series of challenging elimination rounds, in order to turn one home cook into a culinary master.
