Boulder, CO (June 26, 2017) – AIM Healthy U, (, Active Interest Media’s Healthy Living online education portal, announces the launch of “Vegan Fusion Academy,” with Chef Mark Reinfeld. This 23-week program, in partnership with Vegetarian Times, covers the fundamentals of preparing vegan and raw foods.

In Part I, Mark Reinfeld, the founding chef of The Blossoming Lotus Restaurant in Kauai and multi-award winning chef and author of seven books, including the best-selling 30 Minute Vegan series, covers vegan food preparation with recipes from soup to desserts. Part I has been available on demand. Part II, launching June 26, covers raw food basics and techniques including how to make plant-based milks and cheeses, and how to use special equipment like food hydrators. Each part contains detailed recipes, interactive photos, in-depth videos, and a quiz at the end of each lesson.

The two parts may be taken separately, at your own pace. Students who successfully finish the first module receive a level one Vegan Fusion Chef Certification, or level two if both modules are successfully completed. Certified chefs have the opportunity to be listed on the Vegan Fusion website worldwide directory of certified chefs.
