Boulder, CO (February 2, 2017) – Catapult Creative Labs (catapultcreativelabs.com) announced that Kelly Blake has joined as Vice President of Client Services and Strategy. In addition Meredith Powlison has joined as Project Manager. Catapult Creative Labs, Active Interest Media’s (aimmedia.com) marketing and creative  services division, offers a full range of client services including custom content, ad creative, social strategy, video and TV production, lead generation, brand strategy, event activation, research, data services, and more.
“Kelly’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge in the verticals we serve is what sets Catapult apart,” said George Sass, Managing Director of Catapult Creative Labs. “Her expertise combined with our audience engagement platforms are key components in executing our client’s strategy. Meredith brings us the winning formula of content creation, strategic planning, and project management and applies her skills to every project.”

With over 20 years experience, Kelly is a seasoned communications and marketing lead, with success working both the client and agency side. Prior to joining Catapult, Kelly was an Executive Director at Golin, a global IPG communications agency. Among other projects, she led the Clif Bar account, as well as strategy for outdoor/sports and social purpose initiatives for Adidas. Kelly is well known in the outdoor, ski, bike and health and wellness industries, and will be leading Catapult’s campaigns in those areas.

She also served as managing editor at Sailing World, digital editor for Yachting, Cruising World and Sailing World, and as events coordinator at PeopleForBikes, a 7-month stint when she lived out of a station wagon, camped over 80 nights, and traveled 27,000 miles.

Catapult’s recent projects cover a wide range of services and subjects including a lavish 108-page brand book for Outer Reef; the #RideAnotherDay video for the National Ski Areas Association as part of a PSA campaign about skier safety; and a total rebuild of CSI Saddlepads’ website, making it mobile-friendly and improving speed and UI scores by almost twofold overnight.
