Tracy Hadel Promoted to Associate Publisher, Better Homes and Gardens;

Mazzucca and Hadel to Report to SVP/Group Publisher Christine Guilfoyle 

NEW YORK, NY/ DES MOINES, IA (March 31, 2015) – Meredith Corporation (NYSE:MDP; today announced that Daren Mazzucca has been promoted to Vice President/Publisher for Martha Stewart Living magazine.  

Mazzucca, 49, joined Meredith five years ago and has held senior sales leadership positions at the company including most recently Publisher, Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Previously in his career, he held leadership positions at Good Housekeeping, Parade, Woman’s Day, Midwest Living and Country Living magazines.

“Daren brings a wealth of magazine publishing experience to Martha Stewart Living as well as a solid track record of success in building and growing advertising performance with leading titles,” says Tom Harty, President, Meredith National Media Group. “We believe his knowledge and experience will enable us to further develop the business performance of Martha Stewart Living magazine.” 

Martha Stewart Living is published 10 times annually with a ratebase of 2 million. Its readership is over 10 million, including 1.75 millennial women, according to Mediamark Research Institute.  Martha Stewart’s digital properties average 8 million monthly unique visitors and 60 million views, according to comScore. Martha Stewart Weddings, a quarterly publication, continues its position as the number one bridal magazine on newsstands.    

Meredith acquired the rights to Martha Stewart Living and  in October 2014 pursuant to a 10-year licensing agreement under which Meredith is responsible for sales and marketing, circulation, production, and other non-editorial functions of Martha Stewart Living and Martha Stewart Weddings magazines.  Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia’s (MSO) editorial team continues to create its highly regarded content.  Additionally, Meredith assumed responsibility for the sales and marketing of and and its related assets, including its vast video library.

In addition, Meredith is promoting Tracy Hadel to the role of Associate Publisher, Better Homes and Gardens. She most recently served as the Advertising Sales Director for Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine. Hadel, 44, is a graduate of Syracuse University.
