Editorial Tips and Recipe Content Support “Be a Better YOU” Campaign

 

NEW YORK, N.Y./ QUINCY, MASS. (November 19, 2014) – In a move that will bring award-winning food and nutrition content to shoppers across the country, EatingWell magazine today announced its new partnership with NuVal LLC, a health and wellness company specializing in nutritional scores available in approximately 2,000 U.S. supermarkets.

 

NuVal LLC was developed by experts in nutrition, weight control and chronic disease prevention. NuVal scores range from 1 to 100 – the higher the NuVal score, the best the nutrition.

As part of NuVal’s “Be a Better YOU” campaign, which focuses on helping consumers eat better by shopping better, EatingWell will supply monthly tips and recipe content which NuVal will distribute to grocer partners to encourage the use of NuVal scores in-store to guide consumer food choices.

Support for the program includes an expansive retail toolkit for grocery partners. The campaign urges shoppers, from back-to-school to holidays, to “Build a Better-for-You Bag of Groceries” with the help of NuVal scores.  The centerpiece of the campaign includes high resolution print materials for in-store use and a resource of digital, newsletter and social media articles, recipes, shopping tips  and ideas for sharing with consumers on the web and in social media.
