ELIZABETH GRAVES NAMED EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF MARTHA STEWART LIVING AND AMY CONWAY NAMED EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF MARTHA STEWART WEDDINGS

NEW YORK, NY/ DES MOINES, IA (January 26, 2016) – Meredith Corporation (NYSE:MDP; www.meredith.com), in consultation with Martha Stewart, recently announced new editorial leadership for the Martha Stewart media properties. 

Elizabeth Graves has been named Editor-in-Chief for Martha Stewart Living, Amy Conway has been named Editor-in-Chief for Martha Stewart Weddings, and Meesha Diaz Haddad has been named Editorial General Manager for both titles. Graves, Conway and Diaz Haddad will be reporting into Linda Fears, VP, Editorial Director for the Meredith Food Center of Excellence, and Editor-in-Chief, Family Circle, who will serve as Group Editor.  Graves will succeed former Martha Stewart Living Editor-in-Chief Eric Pike.

The brands’ digital operations will continue to be led by Janell Pittman and report into Jon Werther, President of Meredith Digital. Kim Martin, Chief Strategy Officer and head of original video production, will oversee digital video content creation for the brands.

Under a new, recently announced 10-year licensing agreement – Meredith’s National Media Group assumed the editorial and operational teams for all print, digital and video functions for the Martha Stewart Living and Martha Stewart Weddings media brands, including www.marthastewart.com and www.marthastewartweddings.com

Graves, who most recently served as Editor-in-Chief, Martha Stewart Weddings – an award-winning bridal magazine and leader in its newsstand category – will oversee Martha Stewart Living’s editorial and visual content, shaping its presence across all media platforms including publishing, digital, and broadcasting.

Graves is an accomplished writer, editor, and national on-air expert who has covered everything from beauty and health to fashion, food, home, entertaining, celebrities, weddings and travel. Before joining Martha Stewart Weddings, Graves was the Beauty and Health Director of Real Simple, and before that, held the position of AVP, Editorial Director of Beauty, Health, and Fitness for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. During her career as a freelance writer, she was a regular contributor to MORE and InStyle and also penned articles for SHAPE, New York, Food & Wine, and Smart Money, among other publications.

Conway, who succeeds Graves as Editor-in-Chief of Martha Stewart Weddings, previously served as Editor-at-Large of Martha Stewart Living. She has extensive editorial experience in the food, home, decorating, crafts, wedding and health spaces. As a longtime editor for the Martha Stewart brand, she has held senior roles at Martha Stewart Weddings and Everyday Food, and has also edited several best-selling cookbooks, including Martha Stewart’s Cookies and Martha Stewart’s Cooking School. She specializes in bringing inspiring, beautiful, and useful content to readers to help enhance their lives, one idea at a time.

Both Graves and Conway will continue to be based in New York City.
