FORBES LAUNCHES BRANDVOICE SPECIAL FEATURES

The Company Continues to Evolve BrandVoice Platform, Now Offering Four Digital BrandVoice Products–Special Features, Pulse, Stories and Elite–and two print BrandVoice products–Columns and Inside Spreads

NEW YORK (July 28, 2015) – Forbes Media announced today the launch of BrandVoice “Special Features”–a digital product for marketers that presents thematically aligned brand content within a custom-design feature page. The content features as many as ten elements, including posts, video, infographics, interactive elements and photo galleries, among others.

“Marketers are increasingly seeking thought leadership marketing that delivers visual, interactive and highly engaging experiences.  Our focus is on continuing to evolve our BrandVoice platform and introduce innovative features that deliver on those experiences for our readers, visitors and BrandVoice partners,” said Mark Howard, Chief Revenue Officer at Forbes Media.

On July 28, Dell will be the first to launch a BrandVoice Special Feature on Forbes.com called “1 in 7 Billion” (www.forbes.com/futurehealth). The campaign, which will run with ads for eight weeks, focuses on personalized medicine and the future of health care powered by the cloud.  Dell’s goal is to increase visibility, engagement and awareness of its cloud technologies and customer stories. The BrandVoice Special Feature allows Dell to tell an authentic story in its own words, pictures, videos and infographics.

“We are excited to work with Forbes Media to extend our brand voice, drive awareness about Dell Cloud and reach audiences through unique, interactive experiences with the BrandVoice Special Feature,” said Liz Matthews, Executive Director, Brand and Thought Leadership Marketing, Dell.

The DellVoice campaign is part of a larger “Future Ready” campaign by Dell. The content on Forbes.com, which will be updated throughout the eight-week campaign, is designed to help people run their businesses in better and smarter ways.

This is the fourth BrandVoice digital product that Forbes has launched in the last five years.  Earlier in 2015, Forbes launched “Pulse” on Forbes.com, which provides advertisers with a multi-element execution incorporating visual and interactive storytelling.  Forbes also offers BrandVoice Elite (unlimited publishing on Forbes.com for $75,000/month for a four-month minimum) and BrandVoice Stories (four BrandVoice stories published over a two-month period for $50,000).

In addition, Forbes magazine features two BrandVoice products, including a BrandVoice two-page inside spread and a BrandVoice column.  As part of the new BrandVoice spread programs, Forbesmagazine has run second covers  (http://www.forbes.com/sites/att/2015/01/05/play-it-forward/) and cover call-outs (http://www.forbes.com/sites/fidelity/2015/03/23/are-you-on-track-for-the-retirement-you-want-infographic/ andhttp://www.forbes.com/sites/northwesternmutual/2015/05/27/women-and-finances-the-power-of-empowerment-infographic/).

BrandVoice remains Forbes’ fastest-growing premium offering for brand marketers.  In 2014, approximately 30% of Forbes’ total advertising revenues were generated by BrandVoice partners.  Digital advertising revenues now make up 70% of Forbes’ total advertising revenues.
