CHICAGO (August 15, 2017) – Forbes Media announced today that Dave Shank will join the company as Midwest Sales Director based in Chicago, effective immediately.

In his position, Mr. Shank will be responsible for managing Forbes’ Chicago office and leading the Midwest-based sales team, actively managing strategic accounts and overseeing revenue growth and performance in the Midwest. Mr. Shank will report to Jessica Sibley, Senior Vice President of Sales, U.S. and Europe, at Forbes Media.

Mr. Shank brings to Forbes Media nearly 25 years of advertising sales experience, including publishing and diverse forms of digital marketing, where he has covered a wide range of business categories – Financial, Technology, Telecom, Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods. Prior to joining Forbes Media, Mr. Shank was Senior Director at Yahoo. Previously, he spent over 10 years at Dow Jones as the Midwest Sales Director for Barron’s. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and resides in Chicago with his wife and two children.
