FORBES MEDIA APPOINTS PETER MACEY AS MIDWEST SALES DIRECTOR

NEW YORK (June 16, 2015) – Forbes announced today that Peter Macey has joined Forbes Media as Midwest Sales Director.  Based in Chicago, Mr. Macey will lead the company’s sales in the Midwest region. His responsibilities include new product and partnership integration, generating new business and driving Forbes brand awareness and development.  He will report to Janett Haas, ‎Vice President Sales, Western & Central Regions at Forbes Media.  His appointment is effective immediately.

Prior to joining Forbes Media, Mr. Macey was the Vice President of Midwest Sales at PointRoll where he led cross functional management of Midwest ad technology sales, account management, and marketing teams. From 2008-2012, Mr. Macey was a National Ad Director for WIRED where he developed cross platform solutions for a variety of brands. With over 15 years of sales and marketing experience, Mr. Macey has also held key sales positions at a number of high profile media companies including Blender, Esquire, Popular Mechanics and SPIN.

Peter Macey earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University.
