Glamour Launches #GlamourDateNight: A Nationwide Campaign to Bring Back the Date on June 28


#GlamourDateNight features exclusive deals with restaurants, beauty bars, a fashion website, and dating services all over the country to make it easier than ever to get date night right!


Glamour is launching #GlamourDateNight, a nationwide campaign aimed at inspiring all women, whether they are single or in a relationship, to bring back the date on Saturday, June 28, 2014. The campaign was conceived in response to readers’ complaints about how no one goes on actual dates anymore. In fact, Glamour polled 2,500 real women and found that 31 percent of single women haven’t been on a “real” date in over a year, 73 percent of single women have wondered whether the last date they went on was a date, and 88 percent of women with partners don’t have a regularly planned date night.


Kicking off with the July issue and at, #GlamourDateNight is a multi-faceted campaign consisting of exclusive national and local deals with restaurants, beauty bars, a fashion website, and dating services, plus original in-book, online, and social media content geared toward all things dating, from fashion and beauty to etiquette.


“We hear from women everywhere that dating has essentially vanished—that it’s all about group hangouts and 11:00 P.M. texts these days, which women say just isn’t the same thing,” said Cindi Leive, editor-in-chief of Glamour. “So Glamour is helping women reclaim date night with #GlamourDateNight, an evening when everyone is encouraged to put their phone away and actually go spend one-on-one time with someone.”


Glamour has brokered exclusive deals to help with every aspect of planning for #GlamourDateNight.
