NEW YORK – April 13, 2015 – Hearst Magazines Digital Media (HMDM) announces the live Periscope broadcast of “Bedtime Stories” across its 18 websites on Monday, April 13 at 10:00 PM ET. “Bedtime Stories” will feature personalities, influencers and editors entertaining viewers with a variety of nighttime programming. Highlights include: a conversation with plus-size model Elly Mayday about beauty standards for ELLE, a shirtless male model reading “Goodnight Moon” with a cuddly kitten for Cosmo, the reveal of Seventeen’s May cover, a chef preparing a decadent cheesecake for Delish, and transcontinental driving record-setter Alex Roy telling his favorite car stories for Road & Track.

 

Viewers can tune in by following each brand on Twitter or Periscope. The hashtag for the event is #bedtimestory. Programming for Monday night includes:

 

Car and Driver @CARandDRIVER: An editor will read “Little Blue Truck” while riding in the passenger seat of an orange Jaguar F-type Roadster with the top down.

 

Cosmopolitan @Cosmopolitan: Cosmo’s resident shirtless hunk CJ Richards will read "Goodnight Moon" while cuddling a kitten.

 

Country Living @CountryLiving: An editor will read “City Mouse and Country Mouse.”

 

Delish @Delishcom: A chef from The Cheesecake Factory will prepare an off-the-menu cheesecake.

 

ELLE @ELLEmagazine: ELLE.com editor Leah Chernikoff and plus-size model Elly Mayday will talk viewers through their evening beauty routines.

 

ELLE Décor @ELLEDECOR: An editor will be reading from the illustrated book, "The Height of Style."

 

Esquire @Esquiremag: Author Benjamin Percy will read an excerpt from his new novel, “The Dead Lands."

 

Good Housekeeping @goodhousemag: Good Housekeeping Style Director Lori Bergamotto will read a children’s book with her daughter in her home.

 

Harper’s Bazaar @harpersbazaarus: A model will read Diana Vreeland's Harper’s Bazaar column, "Why Don't You," from a chic, candlelit hotel room in Los Angeles.

 

House Beautiful @HouseBeautiful: A boiling a cup of tea and classical music will soothe viewers.

 

Marie Claire @marieclaire: A female bartender will make a nightcap and talk viewers through the recipe.

 

Popular Mechanics @PopMech: While sitting beside a fire pit, an editor will read a meditation on BBQ and grilling.

 

Redbook @redbookmag: Season 17 Bachelor star Sean Lowe will read a juicy excerpt from his upcoming tell-all, "For the Right Reasons: America’s Favorite Bachelor On Faith, Love, Marriage, And Why Nice Guys Finish First."

 

Road & Track @RoadandTrack: Alex Roy, 2006 transcontinental driving record-setter and former chairman of The Moth storytelling series, will tell his three best car stories, starting in his Morgan 3-Wheeler automobile and then moving up to his apartment to complete the tales.

 

Seventeen @seventeen: The May cover of Seventeen will be revealed for the first time…by a puppy.

 

Town & Country @TandCmag: The executive chef along with the bartender of Edson Hill, a quaint inn located in Stowe, VT, will make a nightcap and snack for viewers.
