Baggett as the new Garden Editor for Better Homes & Gardens. Baggett comes from Meredith’s Country Gardens, where he served as editor. In his new position, Baggett will oversee all content related to gardening, landscaping, and outdoor living.

Prior to his role at Country Gardens, Baggett held the position of Garden Group Editor of all of the Better Homes & Gardens special interest gardening titles. Baggett previously worked as the executive editor of Country Living Gardener and Rebecca’s Garden. He also served as the garden editor of American Homestyle & Gardening, and was the founding managing editor of Elle Decor.

Baggett is the author of Flower Arranging, a ‘Best of Martha Stewart Living Book.’ He has appeared on The Today Show, MSNBC and HGTV and has received numerous awards for his work, including the 2015 and 2012 Silver Award in the Best Garden Magazine category for Country Gardens from the Garden Writers Association. Baggett is the 2015 recipient of the B.Y. Morrison Communication Award presented by the American Horticultural Society.

Baggett graduated University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Journalism, with a degree in Journalism.
