JANA GALE NAMED EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR, GROUP MARKETING FOR HEARST MEN’S GROUP

NEW YORK, June 23, 2015 – Hearst Men’s Group (Car and Driver, Esquire, Popular Mechanics and Road & Track) today announced that Jana Gale has been named executive creative director, group marketing. The announcement was made by Jack Essig, senior vice president, publishing director and chief revenue officer, and the appointment is effective immediately.

In this role, Gale will be responsible for managing the production of all branded marketing content. She will develop each brand’s visual identity across selling and promotional materials, presentation/proposal templates, online media kits, branded collateral, events, videos, and promotional pages.

Before joining Hearst Men’s Group, Gale was senior creative director, advertising at The Lucky Group Inc. since October 2012, where she oversaw the Creative Services art department, creative budgets, workload, and schedules at Lucky Magazine. She also directed all client and Lucky promotion-related photoshoots and videoshoots, collaborating with Lucky Magazine editorial and LuckyShops.com merchandising teams. She had been promoted from creative director, advertising, a position she held since December 2010.

Earlier in her career, Gale worked for Vogue, most recently in the role of art director, where she executed advertising campaigns, advertorials and other design projects.
