NEW YORK — June 21, 2017 Jeff Levick will join The Players’ Tribune (TPT) as Chief Executive Officer effective September 5, 2017, it was announced today by Jaymee Messler, Co-Founder and President of TPT.

Levick was previously the Chief Revenue Officer at Spotify, where he was responsible for the company’s global business. He oversaw both the monetization strategy and the distribution efforts for Spotify’s free and subscription enterprises, and also led the offices tasked with advertising, marketing, operations and international development. Under his direction, Spotify expanded its footprint from 12 to 58 countries.

Prior to Spotify, he was President of Global Advertising and Strategy at AOL, where he oversaw product strategy, research, marketing, advertising technology and branded entertainment. He also managed P&L for a worldwide advertising organization with more than 850 employees and $1 billion in annual revenue.

Before AOL, Jeff held various global roles at Google, where he started in 2001 as an original member of the advertising team. While at Google, he was Vice President of Industry Development and Marketing, Americas, as well as Director of the European Vertical Markets Group, which was based in London. He was also a member of Google’s executive management team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He was responsible for industry sales strategy and all businesstobusiness sales activities across North and South America, including advertising, marketing, research, and customer acquisition and retention for all advertiser and publisher customer channels.
