Independent Adventure Lifestyle Network Tops Larger Competitors


WESTPORT, Conn. (October 22, 2015)— Outside Television, America’s only television network for people who share a deep passion for the active, adventure lifestyle, was recognized by CableFax, the go-to authority on all news affecting the cable, broadband and digital markets, at their annual awards ceremony.

 

This year, Outside Television received four awards: three from CableFax’s Trailer Awards and one Program Award. “Outside Television is honored to be acknowledged by CableFax,” said Rob Faris, Senior Vice President, programming & production. “The desire to bring compelling content about the world outside to viewers has long driven our programming, and it is gratifying to see this programming honored amongst the major networks in the cable space today.”

In each category, Outside Television was able to stave off competition from larger networks including MLB Network, MTV, Starz, Sundance TV, National Geographic and ESPN.
