Sunset is Honored for the First Time as a Finalist for the 2014 National Magazine Awards’ Best Service and Lifestyle Magazine and Takes Home Three 2014 FAME Awards for the Best in Magazine Events

Menlo Park, CA (April 28, 2014)— For the first time ever, Sunset, the leading lifestyle brand in the West, was nominated by The American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) as a finalist for the Service and Lifestyle Magazine category for the 2014 National Magazine Awards (Ellies). Sunset magazine is also proud to announce that it is the recipient of three 2014 FAME Awards for the year’s best achievements in event production.

Honoring print and digital publications that consistently demonstrate superior execution of editorial objectives, innovative techniques, noteworthy journalistic enterprise and imaginative art direction, the 2014 National Magazine Awards have released their list of finalists, nominating Sunset in the category of General Excellence in Service and Lifestyle Magazines. This category recognizes premier publications covering family, home, food, fashion and relationships.
