(NEW YORK, NY, APRIL 26, 2017)Time Inc. (NYSE: TIME) has announced that Jay Meyer has rejoined the company as Senior Vice President, Travel Category, responsible for overseeing sales and revenue growth for the travel business across the company’s portfolio and platforms. Most recently, Meyer consulted in the travel space with Hearst Magazines on its Airbnb Magazine, The Black Tomato travel agency and digital start-up The Venue Report following his tenure as Publisher of Time Inc.’s Travel + Leisure. Meyer reports to Greg Schumann, Group President, Sales.

With sales and marketing experience that spans two decades, Meyer was Vice President and Publisher of Travel + Leisure from 2012 to 2016 after serving as Vice President and Associate Publisher of Food & Wine from 2007 to 2012. Meyer joined American Express Publishing’s Corporate Sales team in 2001 as Corporate Sales Manager before moving up in the organization to become Vice President of Corporate Sales. Earlier in his career, he held several sales positions in Time Inc.’s Corporate Sales division, including New York Sales Manager, Sales Development Director and Business Development Manager.
