Awards Highlight Hotels, Tour Operators, Airlines, and Innovators that are Transforming The Way We See the World, Now and in the Future

New York, NY (October 20, 2014) Conservancy Safaris Namibia, Swakopmund, Namibia; 21c Museum Hotels, Louisville, Kentucky; and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), are among the winners of the Travel + Leisure 2014 Global Vision Awards. Selected by a panel of distinguished jurors including Bonnie Burnham of the World Monuments Fund, fashion designer Rachel Roy, Nobel Prize–winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, and Anya Schiffrin of Columbia University, the 15 honorees are working to preserve and protect the places we travel through.  The winners are recognized in five categories: Community, Culture, Conservation, Leadership, and Sustainability.  Travel + Leisure editors awarded the Visionary Award to Yin Myo Su, managing director, Inle Princess Resort, Burma.
