Ethan Grey Named Vice President, Digital, MPA
NEW YORK, NY (July 26, 2012) — Ethan Grey has joined MPA – the Association of Magazine Media – in the newly created position of Vice President, Digital, it was announced by Christopher Kevorkian, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer.
A veteran of mobile firms and digital agencies whose clients include magazine media companies, Mr. Grey will help establish and disseminate best practices, particularly in the area of app development, to help magazine media companies bring digital products to market more efficiently and cost-effectively. He will also help steer the creation of mobile advertising standards and explore potential collaborations with technology firms. He will report to Mr. Kevorkian.
“Ethan has a unique perspective on content, advertising and technology that makes him ideally suited to work with magazine media companies, their technology partners and the advertising industry,” said Mr. Kevorkian. “Additionally, his experience in bringing mobile apps and websites to market will be an asset toward serving the digital interests of our member companies."
Prior to joining MPA, Mr. Grey was Vice President of Strategy for Tigerspike, where he was responsible for developing strategies and new products for The Economist, American Express, 20th Century Fox, Elsevier Publishing and SiriusXM. Previously, Mr. Grey led the Entertainment & Media division of Übermind (now Deloitte Digital), where he was part of bringing many of the industry-leading tablet and smartphone news, media and entertainment applications to the market, ranging from truTV to CNN. He earned a B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business and holds several technical certifications.
