Fitness Magazine Joins Wanderlust Festival as National Media Partner

New York, NY (July 3, 2013)—Fitness magazine today announced it is the official national media partner for Wanderlust Festival , the world’s largest yoga and music platform, to bring together wellness enthusiasts and families for a four-day event held in the most picturesque mountain resorts of North America.

The partnership kicked off with the Stratton Mountain, Vt., festival on June 20 where EatingWell, another Meredith brand with editorial offices in Shelburne, Vt., offered over 9,000 attendees product samples and special giveaways. Fitness will be on hand for two more stops of the tour: Cooper Mountain, Colo., from July 4-7; and Squaw Valley, Calif., from July 18-21.

“A partnership with Wanderlust was a perfect fit,” said Terri Smith, Group Associate Publisher, Marketing, Fitness. “The festival’s emphasis on physical and mental wellness complements Fitness’ message of empowering women to live active and healthy lives. Our readers also value the festival’s celebration of adventure and nature, which attendees will experience with activities such as explorative hikes, paddle boarding and kayaking.”

The Squaw Valley stop features a Fitness Pavilion, where the 16,000+ attendees can take advantage of personal fittings with footwear experts, win great prizes, sample products, and more.

Sage-level tickets, which give attendees access to all four days of the festival, for all stops include a one-year subscription to Fitness.

EatingWell will also present Farm-to-Table dinners, celebrating local chefs, farms and flavor, held on Friday and Saturday nights during each festival stop. Attendees are invited to take home an exclusive Farm-to-Table dinner gift bag, featuring products, special offers and other goodies from EatingWell and its partners.
