TIME Celebrates MLK's "I Have a Dream" Speech with Special Issue and Website
The print issue features items reflecting on King’s impact from Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Shonda Rimes, John Conyers, Marco Rubio, Theodore Olson, Malala Yousafzai and more. The cover is a fantastic picture (by Dan Budnik) of King at the legendary March on Washington.
Multitask Nation: ESPN Lets iPad Users Call Up Scores, Clips, While They Watch Live Video
The key here is something ESPN is calling a “live toolbar.” It’s a widget that runs across the bottom of the video screen and lets you pull up data like scores and stats for other games you’re not watching.
Town & Country Increases Rate Base
The magazine is raising its rate base for the first time in 10 years, starting with the January 2014 issue. Jennifer Levene Bruno, chief revenue officer and publisher of Town & Country, announced that the increase will be from 450,000 to 475,000, representing a 5.5 percent jump.
