Steve Lacy, the CEO of Meredith and the chairman of the MPA, Association of Magazine Media, said the biggest boon is that new standards are cross-platform. “The old standards were too print centric,” he said. “The new guidelines are a lot more appropriate to the mutliplatform world that we live in.”
