Time Inc Launching New Online Destination for "Car Heads" This Fall
Time Inc, continues to build up its digital offerings. They've launched destinations like 120sports.com, TheRoomEdit.com, TheSnug.com and also relaunched some of their bigger websites like SI.com, Money.com and Fortune.com. Now the company says it will launch a new website for car enthusiasts called The Drive which they promise will celebrate cars and automotive culture. The site will be lead by former Maxim Digital Director Mike Guy.
GQ.com's Latest Revamp: Publisher Adds New Slideshow Format, Ads Almost Guaranteed to Be Seen —Viewability Trend Takes Spotlight
Ahead of a larger redesign that will debut in the fall, GQ is rolling out some tweaks to its site, including a revamped home page, new slideshow format, a new grooming section and in-stream ads designed to own people's attentions. On July 7, FBI agents raided the home of Jared Fogle, the long-serving frontman and healthy-eating ambassador for the world’s largest restaurant chain. For much of the day, the authorities removed documents, electronics, and other items from his house in Zionsville, outside Indianapolis, possibly in connection with a child pornography investigation. In April the executive director of the Jared Foundation—Fogle’s anti-childhood-obesity charity—was arrested and charged with producing and possessing child pornography. Fogle, 37, hasn’t been arrested or charged, and it’s unclear what specifically the FBI was looking for...
