Time Inc.'s Digital Chief: "Transitioning Takes Time"
Scott Havens, svp of digital at Time Inc., is undeterred. In the 18 months since joining the company from the Atlantic, Havens has helped Time Inc. double down on video and explore e-commerce, launch new digital-only properties, push paywalls, invest in tech — and learn to play the Facebook traffic game.

“When I was growing up, I’d accompany my mom to the salon at JCPenney and watch her get her hair cut and colored every other month,” adds InStyle beauty director Angelique Serrano. “I remember sitting in those chairs and I would be waving my feet on the chair looking through the trend book.”
Saveur Enters Travel Space
Bonnier Corp's Saveur is partnering with Butterfield & Robinson to deliver branded excursions for food lovers. Saveur Trips will start in the fall with three discrete vacation packages to Peru ($9,975), New Orleans ($3,495) and Napa and Sonoma ($4,595.)
