IFC Developing Unscripted Series Inspired By New York Magazine’s Vulture
The Vulture Show “will deliver smart, irreverent and ‘slightly off’” entertainment news covering TV, movies, music, art, books, theater and celebrities. The weekly dual-hosted talk show will feature some of Vulture’s most influential contributing voices and will be comprised of in studio features, field pieces and celebrity guest interviews, according to IFC.

Magazine Media 360° April 2016 Data Available!
Today MPA released the April 2016 Total Magazine Media 360° Brand Audience Report. Total audience increased +3.9% vs. the same month a year ago. The Mobile Web and Video audiences continued their rapid growth versus a year ago (+25.8% and +55.9% respectively). Of the three online platforms reported, Mobile Web is the largest— more than twice the size of the Web (Desktop/Laptop) audience and representing nearly one-third of magazine media brands' Total Magazine Media 360° Audience. GfK Taps Lindner to Run MRI
Marketing and media research industry veteran Gregg Lindner has joined GfK as managing director of GfK MRI, including the Survey of the American Consumer, which is Madison Avenue's de facto standard for magazine audience ratings in the U.S. Lindner joined GfK last year as executive vice president-media research after a brief stint at the Media Ratings Council. Before that he was executive vice president-service innovation & Chief Research Officer of Arbitron (now Nielsen Audio.)
The Atlantic Plans Convention Events, Political Coverage
The Atlantic is planning a series of events and programs at the Republican and Democratic national conventions in July at The Atlantic’s Convention HQ, with hubs in both Cleveland and Philadelphia. The Atlantic’s Convention HQ will host daily newsmaker briefings, lunches, receptions and panels.
