President, Meredith Magazines and General Manager, National Media Group
Olson has overall responsibility for all of Meredith’s National Media brands including brand sales and marketing and all content generation activities.
Olson joined Meredith in April 2000 as Vice President and General Manager of Meredith Interactive Media. Prior to joining Meredith, Olson was Vice President and General Manager for ADP’s National Account Services Outsourcing and Technology operation in West Des Moines, Iowa where he spent 13 years. During his career, he has held various senior leadership positions that included responsibility for technology integration, strategic planning and overall service delivery.
Olson earned an MBA from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement, USA, The Association of Magazine Media (MPA), and Alliance for Audited Media (AAM). In addition, he is also an Honorary Trustee for the Des Moines Performing Arts.
