Global Director Business Development
Dr. Michal (Mickey) Galin is the Global Director Business Development, Media Measurement for GfK. In her role she works actively with clients around the world as well as within GfK to develop solutions for measurement and insight needs. Previously, Galin was Executive Vice President of Research & Business Development for GfK MRI in the United States. In her role at GfK MRI, Galin developed and ran a division that was acquired by MRI, served on the Executive Committee, worked extensively on the Survey of the American Consumer, and was instrumental in developing additional products such as the Issue Specific Study and the Media Day study. Galin's extensive experience has served to develop her keen knowledge of strategy building, consumer research, data mining for insights, project management, and product development.
Galin joined GfK in 2001 shortly after receiving her doctorate from Cornell University. Galin has presented papers extensively including at the ESOMAR Worldwide Audience Measurement Conference, the ARF, the PDRF, the American Evaluation Association Annual Conference, the AAPOR Annual Conference, and at the European Association on Research, Learning and Instruction Conference.
