Risa Becker joined MRI-Simmons (formerly GfK MRI) in 1999 and was promoted to Senior Vice President Research in 2012. She is responsible for the day-to-day execution of MRI's national, syndicated media and product study, its recontact studies and the Starch AdMeasure product. Becker has co-authored papers on title confusion, magazine audience accumulation, and digital reading presented at the Print and Digital Research Forum. Becker received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 1992. She is a member of the Market Research Council.
