Matt Given is Chief Executive Officer of Intelivideo and has a 25-year track record in entrepreneurship as an operator, a founder and an investor in technology companies. He is also an endurance-sports junkie, having competed in Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. 1) How does your company partner with MPA members to help them succeed?
Many publications are searching for new business models to incorporate into their existing ad-based publication model. Intelivideo enables them to prop up lucrative, subscription-based video on demand channels (otherwise known as Over-The-Top or OTT channels).

2) What challenges or uncertainties do you see on the horizon for the industry?
Even if you don't think the ad-based model is dead yet, it is clearly shrinking dramatically. Publications are challenged to figure out how to make the transition from advertising dollars to consumer dollars. The industry needs to rethink their monetization model.

3) What had the greatest impact on your business this year?
The direct-to-consumer video on demand has exploded faster than anyone could have predicted. Many industries including the magazine industry are starting to use video content as a recurring revenue money-making machine. We've been able to work with many different companies including Active Interest Media that see subscription video channels as a core strategic move in these changing times.

5) Is there anything we haven’t asked you today that you wish we had?
Have you seen Free Solo yet? Just saw it the other night and it's probably the greatest movie on courage I've ever seen.
