Santa Fe, NM (December 2, 2019) -- OUTSIDE, America’s preeminent active lifestyle brand, today announced a new partnership with Land Rover. The collaboration begins with the launch of 4xFAR, a weekend of live music, gear demos and adventure workshops that will take place in Coachella Valley’s newest venue, the Empire Grand Oasis on January 18-19, 2020.

As the festival's media partner, OUTSIDE is creating an adventure village featuring twenty-five activities and guided workshops. Activities include slacklining, rock climbing, mountain biking, campsite mixology, navigation & wilderness safety, and overlanding. There will also be the opportunity to demo the latest gear from supporting brand such as Black Diamond, Salomon, Sony, Niner Bikes, and more. The festival will celebrate the launch of the Land Rover brand’s most iconic vehicle—the new 2020 Defender. Festival attendees will be among the first to experience the new 2020 Land Rover Defender on a purpose-built off-road test course.

Complementing OUTSIDE’s adventure village programming, the eclectic music line-up includes Anderson Paak & The Free Nationals, Mark Ronson & Q-Tip and Young the Giant. The athlete and ambassador programs include professional volleyball player Gabby Reece and famed big-wave surfer Laird Hamilton, the United States Equestrian Federation and the United States Ski and Snowboard.
