MPA – THE ASSOCIATION OF MAGAZINE MEDIA ANNOUNCES CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR THE 2019 IMAGINATION AWARDS

 

New York, NY (January 15, 2019) – MPA – The Association of Magazine Media is now accepting entries for the annual Imagination Awards to honor the innovative and transformational work of independent magazine media (IMAG) companies and brands. The Imagination Awards recognize projects and teams that capture the essence of a brand and demonstrate innovative thinking and imaginative tactics, well-defined business objectives, and successful execution and results.

“As the media landscape evolves, independent media companies and brands continue to innovative to engage both advertisers and enthusiast audiences in new and exciting ways,” said Linda Thomas Brooks, president and CEO, MPA – The Association of Magazine Media. “The Imagination Awards will showcase the transformative and highly-effective ideas, projects and initiatives put forth by our IMAG community.”

The Imagination Awards are offered in six categories: Audience, Content, Digital, Events, Leadership and Revenue. The Revenue category will feature two sub-categories: General Revenue and Advertising/Native Advertising Revenue. Nominated work should have been launched, executed or significantly enhanced from January 1 to December 31, 2018. Magazine media teams may self-nominate work that represents projects, innovations, initiatives and teams (no individual accomplishments) that have made a meaningful and measurable impact on their brand and/or company.
