MPA – THE ASSOCIATION OF MAGAZINE MEDIA ANNOUNCES THE 2019 KELLY AWARDS FINALISTS

Kelly Awards Honor Outstanding Magazine Media Advertising in Three Categories

Winners Announced at the American Magazine Media Conference on February 5, 2019

NEW YORK, NY (January 2, 2019) –MPA – The Association of Magazine Media today announced the finalists in the 2019 Kelly Awards, presented by Quad/Graphics. The awards honor the creative spirit of excellence and innovation in the art of advertising in magazine media. They are given to agency creative teams, advertising clients and magazine media publishers whose campaigns demonstrate both creative distinction and effectiveness in meeting campaign objectives.

“It is fantastic to see the breadth of titles and campaigns entered in this year’s Kelly Awards,” said Linda Thomas Brooks, president and chief executive officer, MPA – The Association of Magazine Media. “From the most well-known publications to smaller enthusiast brands, magazine media across the spectrum offers marketers the most innovative and eye-catching creative in a highly-effective and trusted environment.”

The awards will be offered in three categories: Best Print Magazine Creative, Best Magazine Media Creative/Campaign and Best Custom Magazine Media Program. To qualify, at least one ad of the campaign must have appeared in a 2018 print issue of an American magazine. Agency creative teams, advertising clients and magazine media publishers were encouraged to submit their best work on advertising creative, multi-platform campaigns and custom programs that effectively meet strategic objectives in a creative manner.

Finalists were judged on the goals, elements and impact of the advertisement or advertising campaign. They are as follows:
